The Cross Tech 3 is a really great multifunctional pen/pencil combo. It has red, black, & blue inks as well a .5 pencil in the same barrel. They are made of metal and come in a variety of colors. I have had mine for over 10:years now and love it. I have been a Franklin planner guy for over twenty years, since 2000. I use the compact size, with day on two pages in the “Her Point of View,” design. I love how they go from 6am - 10pm. I have the Mia Zipper Binder, in blue leather currently, and love it. It is set up similar to the Anna, but with a zipper.

i like Bic Atlantis and also Zebra Z Grip Flight 1.0, for finer point, Pilot V5. Pencils i just use the plain Bic mechanical #2. thanks for sharing all the pretty!

Bic also makes a multi pen with red, black, blue inks & pencil. I found mine @ Target.

Thank you so much for filming this for us, Candi! I love how you set this up. I don't use pencil in my planner, but I will say my two favorite pens are the Dr. Grip gel pen and the Pilot Precise V5 in extra fine. One thing I love about having two pen loops in a Franklin is that I can slide in a thin pen and hang a Mildliner highlighter on the outside of that same loop. Really, I can have 4 pens/highlighters with me on two loops at all times. Or, the size of the pen loops can take a large pen - love that. As for front pockets, I'm with you. I think sticky notes are a tool of Satan. (haha) I carry a planner with me everywhere, so that I won't have stick notes all over the place, if you know what I mean. I don't use them. I have decorative paper in the see-through pocket; a small stencil; a set of Avery white repositionable tabs; stamps; a couple Oli magnetic clips. Sometimes I tuck my debit card in a front pocket if I know I want to bring my planner in a store.

(as a matter of fact haven't added any new to my collection lately.) Will definitely look into the writing instruments you mentioned. (who am I kidding...i will just go and order them...ha!) For a pen, i really like Bic Atlantis. Very smooth writing and they last a long time. I'm not certain about the mechanical pencil as i prefer leaded pencils and Dixon-Ticonderoga soft lead. Thank you for the flip through. I love the papers you used💜 And the templates are a fantastic idea!

I use the Pilot Frixion ColorSticks Erasable gel ink pens. They work amazing. I got mine off of WalMart.com its a pack of 10 pens in a variety of colors for $9.88. I don't have to use pencil anymore. Hope you have an amazing week. I love your set up.

The Pilot Dr. Grip 4+1 pen. It is a Three 0.5 mm multi pen and 0.3 mm pencil. May be a great choice for you. You can find it on jetpens.com
