Hello everyone! Today's video is all about planning for a new academic year, and I'm sharing several planning tips and techniques that help me staying organised for a new semester. I hope you will find some of the tips helpful, and feel free to leave your own tips in the comments!
As always I hope you're all staying safe and taking care, and I wish you all the best for the new academic year if you're also starting one soon! And for my friends in the Southern Hemisphere whose academic year started earlier this year, I hope you'll still find some of these tips helpful even though it's the middle of the semester :)

Structuring your week - Weekly plan method used : Time Blocking; 1 Block = 1 Activity tips: Allocate Extra time for each activity Prioritize activities when planning Include buffer time in your weekly plan Remember to plan time for "non-productive" activities *TAPIR* 2. Study Planning - different plan - Semester Study Plan - Make your plan as close to the syllabus as possible Focus in important assignments and exams, and plan to stay on track Plan time for preparation and revision *MFP* - Weekly Study Plan - Base your weekly study plan around lectures and contact hours Be flexible and make weekly changes depending on your needs Buffer time usage *BBB* 3. this is totally okay! if you don’t have morning classes you can just shift your entire schedule-wake up at 11am to get your full 8 hours, have brunch, and get right to work until 4 or 5ish, take a break, then work again when you feel productive that night!

How to plan a semester: 1. weekly schedule (google calendar: time blocks of working hours tips: allocate more time for each activity) 2. Priorities (scheduled classes -- preparation of work, when is the most productive time for you) 3. plan breaks 4. set weekly buffers for catching up and urgent tasks Study plan 1. Semester plan (according to syllabus; follow the recommended pace to make the most of lectures; do the important assignments earlier; plan time for preview and review ) 2.weekly plan (physical planner; plan preview, review, assignment, exams; be flexible) 3. daily plan (5-10 min at the end of the day's working hour for tmr's specific tasks)

I usually just plan everything in my head but now that I am choosing courses I have to be super mindful of avoiding timetable clashes. So planning everything meticulously truly is key! As a bonus, I’ve got myself a timetable for the entire term. I’m trying to amp it up for this year since I’m going abroad, and even include clubs and social activities, so I can really keep track of what I’m spending my time on. It’s super exciting to plan everything, too!

i used to color block my calendar all the time when i was in school because i found it really helped me to visualize what i had to do, but now i find that i really like planning in my bullet journal and find it helps me to clear my head and to focus by having everything written down:)

I wish I could plan but I don’t even know what day school starts and I don’t even have a schedule. I’m going to a new school (middle school to high school), and the only thing I’ve done to prepare is buy my school supplies and buy an electronic device as its mandatory at my school (I chose the iPad Pro) I’m not even sure what time I need to be at school and since I don’t take the bus that’s kind of important aha. I don’t even know what my school looks like and what my classes are, corona is messing everything up even tho school is opening again it’s annoying haha.

Dont worry to much its your freshman year it seems scary but its not that bad. My tips are dont be afraid to email your teachers, pay attention to your grades but dont always stress out, take advantage of tutoring and have fun school is about grades but its also about networking building relationships and learning socail skills etc. You are gonna be fine. Also pro tip get a keyboard and stand to go with that i pad you can find them on amazon for pretty cheap.

you guys are so lucky that you get your classes routine and syllabus routine weeks ahead for my school, we have to figure out these things by ourselves we get the weekly classes routine on the first day of the week also during online classes we don't even get a fixed routine and also there is no such thing as a syllabus routine which makes planning for my academic year so hard

I think if you want to make an aesthetic video ypu should: 1. Have a good lighting 2. Always have pastel/mild colors 3. Add aesthetic decorations 4. Maybe use a filter Hope I helped!
