You're a genius my friend. love the videos. would love to see one on how you write different chord progressions for each section of a song. or how you layer guitars.

Sounds really cool. Melodic and heavy. Well thought out stuff. It would be cool to hear Fast Arpeggios on the thicker strings, like in a rhythm context.

This is so sick! I’ve been doing this approach for a while. Works just as well with writing riffs. Been obsessed with writing in ultra locrian and going hard with modal harmony. I recently started go back to functional harmony to internalize all those weird and augmented 6th chords use them in a metal context.
