That Buddy beat is straight 🔥🔥 I discovered u from someone who mentioned your name in the comments section on a Georgia Ann Muldrow song from her jazz/funk fusion album: 'Jyoti: Mama u Can Bet' monster record! Glad I decided to check u out. Your 'The Funk Will Prevail' album is solid! 💪🏽😎

Yea man. Be proud of yourself and those moment because you da neptunes to this generation of music heads. I WISH I coulda watched Chad break down how he made a beat within the week of it dropping 🔥

I had heard this song, thought it was refreshing, and then saw this video pop up a day later and was like “ohhh of course it’s Kaelin”. There’s some great takeaways here: 1) If someone isn’t feeling something you make, maybe even if that someone is yourself, it doesn’t mean it won’t resonate with a different person or have impact elsewhere. 2) Some things in music take YEARS to come out so keep working and also be patient 3) An artist is often THE missing element. The beat was strong, but Buddy’s approach gave it a new life and made it magic.

The pitch on the attack is crazy! How do you go about that? I saw the pitch envelope, but I'm not sure if there's another way to do that without that plugin. So dope!
@kaelinellis6 ай бұрын
most samplers have pitch envelopes included. abletons native sampler rack does, i think logics sampler does too!
