Good idea with the drag brake on the aux wire! But you need to keep in mind when pulling high amp you battery connection can fail. You use ec5 5mm connections, not so big but ok. But you batterys have 4mm plugs amd thats a bit small and can get to warm and fail.

I use radiolink rc6gs with a range booster. It's a cheap radio around 75.00 but with its stock range it's 1900ft with a range extender you can go further if needed.

heyy SWALDOSKI… I need your help!!! I have radiolink 6 Chanel and xlx2&1100kv in my Kraton 1/5. I have a problem, it’s not drag brake, idk if it’s the crawler mode function or what but I’ve triple checked-quadrupole checked EVERYTHING man and I have to let off my throttle immediately if I want it to coast and roll bcs if I let off my trigger gradually, the truck will forcibly slow down to that speed instead of just costing and roll on its own until it slows down naturally. You have the xlx2 also? You have the radiolink , have you EVER seen that happen?? Even with the aux removed and disabled in castlelink, it still does it! What is going on???? It’s been like that since day 1. My newest upload is of this trouble shoot please watch it I need help! Thank you!!

@@toysforboysrc I can tell you all my settings in the castle link maybe that may help. I dont use a Sensored motor although I should I just used what I had. Momba monster big block 1717 1650kv

@@swaldoski … Miguel suggested updating the radiolink software to the newest version and or hard reset the transmitter.. I’ll go for the update bcs the it’s been doing this since before fine tuning the transmitter parameters.

Yooo…Hey… you ever run the xlx2 with a radiolink remote? I’ve got that combo and when I let off throttle, the truck won’t just coast in neutral unless I let the trigger go immediately.. if I let off throttle slow, the motor wants to copy the trigger and it jerks the truck harshly bcs it’s purposely slowing down instead of coast.. I just uploaded the video on it, idk man, I went through EVERYTHING…… it’s NOT the castle link setup at all as far as I know.. I think it might be the remote bcs it’s got so many settings but, dang I went through allllll of that to man idk. I need to hear it from someone who’s got the xlx2 and the same 6 channel radiolink transmitter.. thanks, watch the vid if you can I need help bcs It’s annoying🤷‍♂️😎

I actually haven't had my xlx2 set up out for a while, I still have to repair my car one day soon and try some new passes, we just moved to a different city so there is always a delay when that happens, but ill definitely check it out. Thanks for letting me know
