There is a lot that goes into ads. Most important is your brand, your music quality, and the type of content you use to promote the song. If you aren't killing it in all those areas you might not get good results on either traffic or conversions.

They function the same but Facebook business manager allows you to do more regarding targeting. The boosting way is limited in comparison. But both work if it's basic rather than advance targeting

With 5 second you only pay if people watch more than 30 seconds. With the other, you have to pay no matter what. Also, if someone doesn't like your video and want to skip, you should let them. Otherwise you could annoy them and hurt your reputation. However I've never tried it do it's worth testing
