Ah yay! I always really enjoy your videos! I’m drafting my sequel right now and have a nostalgia for this part of the process. (I hated proofreading while I did it 😂)

Haha, that's funny, I used to not like drafting and always loved editing, but now I'm exactly the opposite. The pile of completed first drafts on my desk is proof 😂. Good luck with the sequel! I'm also drafting the sequel to the book I was proofreading here and it's a lot more difficult than I thought it would be.

Shouldn't another person besides you be checking for typos, too? A person who has never read your book before would find typos easier than you would because they have no expectations about what the words should be versus the actual words (mistakes) that appear on the page.

You are right, and it has been professionally edited before this step. I'm just looking for any other small things I want to change, and someone else has also read it to check for typos after what I did here 😊.
