Why put a silicon protector on the keyboard, the cooling fan inside sucks in air from the top, by putting the silicon keyboard protector, you hinder the air suction from the fab thus making your laptop run hotter, I have the exact same laptop and I did not put anything to protect it. If you really want to protect it, just use an external keyboard and mouse.
