Fantastic tutorial of putting on our armor. Thank you for making it. We enjoy seeing our clients share their passion with others. You put the armor on very well indeed. May I suggest placing the round obi included with your armor, around your waist and then putting the nimai-do over it. This will help hold your do in place and keep it from rubbing against your hip bones. Also if you tie your sarashi higher, at the bottom edge of your do, it will help close the gap under your arm and hold it more securely in place. Because the Do should sit on your waist, leaving about 2 cm space between your shoulders and the watagami. With this space your arms will have less restriction when raising your hands above your head. These tips will help you enjoy your yoroi more, I think. Thank you again!

@bushimotter3 жыл бұрын
My more recent armor video displays me wearing the padded belt, though it is not a traditional tie method. It works all the same though. Btw the padded belt is supposed to be worn under the armor as I am told. This helps the armor sit on the hips more instead of the shoulders.

This one is gashira ++, the extra padding watagami and the iron plating in the watagami were bonuses that are not included in the katchi. My best advice if your are looking to buy, get the gashira or taicho. Katchi is something that an amor enthusiast would probably replace eventually.

@bushimotter6 жыл бұрын
Your wondering is a good question, yes parts can very easily be cut off! There are reviews where the armor is being used against live weapons - the lace gets cut easier than you would imagine. But, back in samurai warfare, there were parts to the armor that you wont see in my vid. Often there are more plates, and much more mail to create a stronger defense. Also the clothing worn below could have armor sewn into them ^,^ Heres a pretty cool video showing the amror in use, and tested against weapons. It is also the same place that made my armor - kzbin.info/www/bejne/emqyp5SCZ7xpeKM
