I only got back to stuff like domino runs recently, so I guess I am sort of at the beginning. My family has a lot of wooden dominos and I’m hoping to eventually create something impressive. It’s people like you who make me remember how awesome dominos are, and incentivize me to start building more with dominos, so thank you for what you do, and for inspiring others!

Lilly, I love watching your videos and as a former editor of video I must say you do an excellent job at it. I always said KZbin was a genius idea when it first came out. Common people putting out there videos for the world to see. At the begging of KZbin some people did great work and some people who put them selves in a video picking there nose fo five minutes made you shake your head and ask yourself why. KZbin has come a long way since then. Since November 15th I been in a hospital for an operation for eight days and after that a nursing home for IV treatment. I go back home on January 2nd. In here I only Have my phone and download an editing app. It's not very good of what I made but I did edit a video of you that I would be curious if I could send it. I realize that you probably get like 50 thousand typical videos like this one and request to send them but again I was wondering ifs I could send it your way. I also wish for you and your family a great and fantastic 2019. I look forward to tomorrow night's New Year's Eve video and more in the comming year. Thank you so much for what you have given the Domino community and world in general. Someone once called a special person to them. I want to pass on the same compliant to you and say your a special person to the world.

I got into dominoes by the same 2008 videos you probably watched. But some videos range to 2013 at the max, and I experimented with dominoes, even though they were building blocks. There is some relations to how we all start off.

This story is so recognizable. I also remember all these old KZbin channels who inspired me. For me it was another way how I really got into dominoes. Me and my brother kept challenging each other with new, better and bigger projects. And now it's a shared passion

Wow, the full story of how lily hevesh, a domino builder that just surpassed 2 million subscribers, started on what she does! It's crazy how you and probably a ton of other builders started with just a small 6 by 6 set! It's incredible really! This was such a great video lily! I can't wait to see what's to come for the new year! As for how I got started, as a ton of people have already said, I started from you! I was around on KZbin about 4 years ago and I came across one of your videos. I think it was called INSANE DOMINO TRICKS and it was a collab featuring millionen dollar boy. That video inspired me so much! I told myself "Hey, I could do that." I watched a few more videos like youtubers in dominoes and a couple other videos that you made. (This was all back when we thought you were a guy, I mean you look back at the one "dominoes in reverse" video that you made, one of the comments in that video said "he should do some in reverse" so yeah, that's about as long as I've been subscribed to you.) That was when I found an old bag with 6 by 6 dominoes, and the rest is history! Thank you so much lily for inspiring me and so many other people to build dominoes.

You inspired me and my dad to build with dominoes. We started just like you with only a few we found at his parents house. Over the last 2 Christmas’s I have gotten a total of 1500 dominoes from bulk dominoes. We have built many tracks over the last couple years with the different amounts of dominoes that we had. I just recently started my own KZbin channel with my dads help and have posted two videos so far. We will be posting more soon. We have all the knockdowns from the last two years recorded. I just started building dominos around a month or two ago, so I’m not that good yet, although I’ve never shared my story of how I got into dominos. Although I know that most of you won’t see this comment, I’d still like to share :) So I had this assignment for school to build a Rube Goldberg machine, and I got right into it, but then noticed I had no experience with building Rube Goldberg machines, so I looked at the assignment and watched the video attached to it made by Joseph’s machines. I thought it was reaaaallly cool and I thought, omg I need to try this! I watched more and more of his videos, until I had watched pretty much all of them, so I searched for more Rube Goldberg machine channels, and I found this channel. I only saw videos that were titled as “domino tricks,” and other stuff like that. I searched through the videos, looking for Rube Goldberg videos, but I couldn’t find any, so I clicked on one of the domino videos, and I thought that it had to have been one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. So I finished up my Rube Goldberg machine and then only made domino projects from then on.

When I was in fifth grade (it was 2016 or 2017), I was introduced very new to youtube. There, I happened to see some (a lot!) of domino videos. Then, because I had scrabble, notebooks, books, etc. I tried doing it. And it was very fun. I kind of stopped doing it when I was in grade 7 or 8. But now I build a lot!! Hahaha. I even bought 3 sets of jenga blocks (160 pieces), and it was so worth it. I bought jenga instead of the actual dominoes because it was a bit easier to build using them, but I'm planning to buy them very very soon. Hahahah

l started when l was 7. My dad had got me something like you're domino sets and l was wondering what do they do. So l searched for "Domino Express" and a saw different things. l kinda like them so much so l start build random races and l told to get me more dominoes and that was fantastic. So far, l'm 12 years old, 5 years ago and l still like building races. So that's my story. - Also making domino races is one of the things that l most do and one of my toys that l didn't trash them.
