How I record clips in Assetto Corsa + how to combine CAM TOOL and Drone Cam

Bit late to the party, but i think i found a solution for car "staggering" after the recording. Lock the fps to 30 and turn off vsync, this solved it for me atleast.

You can just use Drone Cam to get Clips while the car is stationary 🙌🏽

Was having the same issue and after hours of trying I switched to an older version of CSP (0.173)... seems to of done the job. Let me know if this helps. Leaving drone cam activated and disabling heading lock after recording also seemed to effect playback

For me the camtool only records “rotate” movement, it doesn’t record me going up and down with the drone cam nor does it record me moving the camera and i don’t know how to fix this. Anyone has the same problem?

Late reply but use an input emulator/remapper of sorts, allows you to map certain buttons on controller to other buttons (even ones that aren't on your controller) and then u could probs use the DOF feature

I use OBS too but what maybe gets you more Frames is using nvidia or amd recorder depends which graphics card u have

Use a specific codec. NVENC if you use a nvidia card.. that's how shadowplay works, using NVENC so you literally have no noticeable fps hit, unless you record in high bitrate to a slow drive.

Need some help here, I drop the zip into Content Manager, The Camtool 2 install successfully. And under SETTINGS>ASSETTO CORSA>APPS>Activated apps: Cam Tool 2 (checkbox is checked). Also under SETTINGS>APPS, I don't see Cam Tool 2 icon appear on the left side (App list). Is this normal? I only see Sol related apps and other apps appeared. Then I open replay, and I am not able to find the Cam Tool 2 icon on the right edge sidebar. My Content Manager version is 0.8.2393. (x86) Did anyone have the same experience as mine? This comment was posted on 2022MAR19.
