Before the season starts I use custom schedules and I try and schedule a pre season top 25 team late in the season for a home game just for visits. It’s normally Notre Dame cause they’re independent and usually pretty good. I also make sure I stack visits. Like having a RB, WR, and QB on the same visit cause it boosts the visit.

It's so many Easter eggs within the recruiting process I've learned it's really a game within the game. Half the time you can sign these players without scouting and visits

Yea.. especially vs the cpu. In multiplayer leagues it becomes interesting when users begin looking for the same hidden gems

Get those recruits in for those visits as early as possible especially being at smaller schools. If you wait too long the bigger schools will come back on you and steal em from you. I have 2 recruits like that now. I'm at Kennesaw and both FSU and Georgia are gonna snatch a recruit for me.

Every week a player is on your board it unlock 2 influences, even you dont add points to them. So fill up your board even if you aren't adding points to guys

My biggest complaint about recruiting is you only get three normal options to talk to the kid. Then send the house, soft sell , hard sell or sway. Really in real life 16 weeks season I only get to start with this kid a maximum of six times. I got a thousand hours but half of them to sit there and go to waste half the time.

Signed my first insta commit Week 0 But I did learn it's better to wait for your recruits interest meter to get closer to the end before you send a scholarship and I'm just realizing your recruiting hrs go up as your teams prestige increases lol duhh

For Braun, switch to a sway on “let’s get to work” and then soft sell his current ideal pitch. That would give you a better shot then hard sell on that “less than ideal” ideal pitch since your prestige is doodoo.

I'm using UCF currently in year 3 and I'm currently a 3 star magnet. I can get any 3 star I want but 4 stars are very hard and I've yet to land a 5 star. Took chances this season as my team is very young (9 seniors even fewer jrs) going after 4-5 stars because I have depth at all positions just isnt that great

Is it always worth to hard/soft sell or visit vs send the house if you have Ds or Fs in their perfect pitch?

That's why "sway" is there. If there isn't a better pitch with 2 of the original 3, then no, just continue sending the house or cut your losses

Couple questions 1. Do you know how big of a difference there was between like a top ranked 3 star and bottom? Like 3 star ranked 480 vs a 3 star ranked 1800? 2. Building off that, any idea how much better an 1800 ranked 3 star (but a gem) is than a 480 ranked 3 star (but a bust)? If that is this case

A bust is more likely to have worst normal development traits while gems are more likely to have elite dev traits. Every star category has a cap on how good they can be without coaching boosts. The overall difference is usually within 2-5 OVR points. My best advice is to go after players you need to help your scheme. If you’re a runner, go after power OL not pass protectors because their run stats will be lower.

This game is no replay ability. At all. I’m already bored and haven’t touched it in a week. Waiting on Madden now so at least I can use my superstar player against others in superstar showdown. Game is an absolute snore fest
