I have this exact projector. It came with a cleaning kit that has clear instructions, screwdriver, guaze and cotton tip sticks. Of course it would be great if we didn't have to clean it, but at least they provided the tools.

If you look on the bottom. There's a rectangular door with a black screw in it... Remove that screw and cover and use the qtips or a aerosol compressed air blower and clean the dust out. Put cover back on and viola
@kbbeatz_3 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t do that as it can spread the dust all around the projector which could cause the projector to not work

Hey thanks for the info. I have the Elephaa projector that appears to be the same with a different name. I just bought mine and in the corner it looks to be a hair or debris and since I live on a small island in the Caribbean It does not make sense to return it price wise. I feel confident enough now to take it apart. I was cautious because it was new and not sure if it would be a good idea to mess with it because of one spec but it is easy enough as your video shows. However, if i can give you one word of advice and that is to ditch that damn music. It was like a funeral for my projector and very depressing. lol

I liked this projector, because it had relatively decent quality at such a low price. But it came with dust already in the projector lens.

Thanks for the video. My son's projector looks pretty much like yours. Disassembly went ok, just like the cleaning. But light leaks shows at the sides of projected image. It's minimal and he says it's fine. I'm still going to correct it next time.

@@TheJVLAD Yes , I blew dust all over the inside of the projector. I had to take it apart and blow it all out, breaking a few clips along the way. At least the projector is now usable again, dust is starting to form on the right and side of the screen again. You would think that would put some kind of dust mesh over the vents.
