Historical fantasy research is the best kind of research

It lets me do research, without having to use the research if I don't want

I truly enjoyed this video. It was a great way to take a break from canning, and yet still be doing something "important".

Thanks so much for the kind words! I'm glad that it felt important - I think that it is but it's always nice to hear other people say so

Wait, I can just call my UFO bin the "timeout bin"?!!?

Properly titling the bin is half the battle

Isn't it annoying though when the game story and side quests get in the way of the research 😉🙃

Ah....the naughty bin....I definitely don't have a star wars cosplay in there..... Seriously what a great look into how your own standards helps to influence your research process though, and I bet it must be nice to have the soundtrack in the background!

The naughty bin is a non-euclidean object; there's always spare room in it for more. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Your progress on the manticore set is beyond immaculate and very satisfying, I luv the vids🔥.. I’ve been thinking about legendary manticore armor
@Cxizent3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the very kind words! I love the legendary Manticore armour because the gauntlets are much more closely based on real historical splinted arm cannons, but I'm not sold on the little jerkin sleeves lol. If you decide to give it a go, I'd love to see!

There are a ton of historical clothing projects floating around in my brain, Tudor era, specifically, that I would love to do, but they just have not made it up onto the actual, real-life to-do list yet. Part of the reason being just how MUCH research goes into just making, like, a shirt. It was super awesome and kinda encouraging to see your process though. Maybe once I finish my current outside gardening projects, I'll try to tackle some of the historical projects I've been stewing on.

The great thing about historical outfits is that there's no such thing as "historically accurate" so you can just do your own thing and make it in a way that's fun for you. Because really, if we're not enjoying making the things we do, what even is the point?
