I used to be a seamstress and would have been able to do this easily. I made all my daughters clothes and doll clothes. But to me this looks harder than making from scratch. Not sure I have the patience anymore.😂😂😂 Thanks for sharing. You did a great job!

Second half lol:: You’re either doing a running stitch or a whip stitch. I couldn’t see well. Either way it works. lol. So altogether you would’ve done three separate things in one sitting. One, sew the body all around. Two, sew crotch area. Tail 😆. 3. Sew the neck and sleeves and end with the snap You did marvelous girl!!!💚💕💜💟🤍💛😍✝️

When you cut the bottom half and take out the extra material for hem open up the piece and put the shirt material between it then sew it the material wont be as thick and should lay flat.

It's a great question. I don't know if it will work. My advice is to buy a 7" set and use it to make other outfits like I did. ❤
