I started my microlocks (9 months ago) it took 7 days, 10 meltdowns & my ancestors giving me the strength to finish. I had 410 ( but have combined a few) my sides are shaved to my nape (high density). It takes me 2 days to retie at 5wks

Im a teen with sister locs and my aunt reties my hair (for R150) but i really wanna learn to retie on my own so i don't have to make my mom pay for this EVERY month. Ive only had them for roughly a year and they're getting thicker and longer and still getting used them, wish me luck!

Hi, I was wondering what you do for short pieces of hair that get out of the lock without messing with your grid. I always encounter the places where short patches of hair are out the lock. Eapecially after washing. Wondering what to do about this if I plan on self retightening

I usually just twist the short pieces around the loc until it grows out long enough for me to use my crotchet hook
