I love the wild west feel too, but these days, Thailand is only the wild west when compared with the Australian Police state. Cambodia and the Philppines still have that feel. I lived for years in both. Thanks for sharing.

Personally I would be wary of buying a property in Thailand. You have to remember that the country is still ruled by a military dictatorship, rules and regulations can and do change at the drop of a hat and the changes will always favour Thai nationals over foreigners. At least with having your investments in your home country you know it’s secure (barring a potential property or stock market crash). Besides one of the great things about Thailand is how super cheap rent is.

Why be jealous of somebody's achievements you all have the same chances it's going out there and make it happen I did so can you depends on how bad you want it. For me I found an opening in the property market to my chances and it paid of now I watch my money grow and give to charities and I live of the interest with the way interest rates are which is shit it gives you an idea how successful I've been. You got to make it happen for yourself if you want it that bad.

Great video Jonny,I have been following your channel for about a year now and really appreciate what you do. I have a similar background to you and have had enough of the rat race in Sydney and have recently been planning my early retirement in Thailand. I have had a lot of negativity around the subject of (why would you want to live in Thailand and why don’t you want more success in your life) I think that most people in life had the opportunity to cash in and retire at 36 would do it. I guess my concern would be how did you handle the adjustment from running a business to being retired and doing what you want when you want? Is boredom an issue for you?
