How I Retwist My Hair Using ONLY Oil & Water | Loc'd Journey

I'm 4 months locd have been only using water and oil, I'd rather not have the build up to be honest, but I also recently discovered that doing a style like barrel twists will keep the retwist in its place till you take them out - loved the video!

A foam type setting lotion is a great lightweight product that provides a little extra hold without build-up also. Hopefully this helps someone. ✌🏾

It’s actually normal for a retwist not to last more than 2 weeks. A retwist does not Help your hair Loc. It helps Train it but it’s not a must

Water & oil retwist is the way to go. I’m 3.5 years locd and I wish I never used products because they cause buildup in the long run

You’re locs are beautiful and I’m almost 6 months locd as well. For the retwist you should try a thicker oil like castor oil or taliah waajid healing oyl (Orange bottle)

I wonder even if you style the after retwisting will the style still get old quick?? Have you tried beeswax, is that what locks are retwisted with?

beeswax or any typa wax product is supposed to be rlly bad for locs bc it’s known to cause buildup in the long run
