Tyler, you continue to be a wealth of information. I truly appreciate you willingness to share in detail your knowledge and experience. It has surely shortened the learning curve for many of us.

Ya know over the years one thing I tell all new folks to kayak fishing is set up your kayak the way "you" want. Take any tips and ideas yes but where you mount stuff and how you set your kayak up is what feels good to you. You go to a spot where there are a lot of kayak fishermen and I bet you wont find any kayak that has the same set up and the ideas that some guys come up with is pure genius.

I use the same graph on my kayak and I highly recommend the Berley Pro Visor. It cuts down on a ton of glare and allows me to run the screen on a dimmer setting using less battery power. Great channel, I've learned a ton here!

I’ve been following your content for a while now and wanted to say thank you. This is the video I’ve been waiting on. So my question is, coming from a soon to own salty owner and first time kayak owner is, what length of net/s do you normally use? I’ll be targeting the big lake trout, salmon species and the every so often halibut. Thank you for all the videos!

There is not one video on here of people actually putting the pedals on the pdl I’m getting new crank arms sent in since my pedal bored out during one of the biggest kayak tournaments on the east coast last weekend 🤦🏻‍♂️ that said I’m going to be replacing the crank arms and looking for a video of the actual pedal replacement awesome. Videos though man I love how we have the same kayak take care man

What type of cooler do you use for your catch? It never takes more than a second for you to "dispose" of your fish after holding it up to view. No lid opening time in there.

Thanks for the walk through! I really wish I went the ram mount route rather than YakAttack. I like how you store your cords in the seat. I might have to try that. I put plugs on mine and store them in one of the scupper holes; probably not as good of an idea.

Hey Tyler, Sorry for the dumb question on a video that is a year old, but... the ram balls.. B and C size.... do I need to buy them separate to go into the T-Bolt track base? or can use the balls just come off the transducer arm and the helix mount? Trying to mimic your setup of the Helix, arm, and rod holder. Thanks for the content, great vids.

@@spiltmilt when you take the factory pedal off there’s just the bare metal “pin” that the pedal sides on to. With the Vlock did use the backing board from Vlock? Or make your own? I’m really struggling getting the Vlock backing board to mesh up with the rudder cable in the way and just not a lot of flat space Feel like the board is just a little too big for the space.
