Ya know over the years one thing I tell all new folks to kayak fishing is set up your kayak the way "you" want. Take any tips and ideas yes but where you mount stuff and how you set your kayak up is what feels good to you. You go to a spot where there are a lot of kayak fishermen and I bet you wont find any kayak that has the same set up and the ideas that some guys come up with is pure genius.

I use the same graph on my kayak and I highly recommend the Berley Pro Visor. It cuts down on a ton of glare and allows me to run the screen on a dimmer setting using less battery power. Great channel, I've learned a ton here!

I’ve been following your content for a while now and wanted to say thank you. This is the video I’ve been waiting on. So my question is, coming from a soon to own salty owner and first time kayak owner is, what length of net/s do you normally use? I’ll be targeting the big lake trout, salmon species and the every so often halibut. Thank you for all the videos!

Thanks for the walk through! I really wish I went the ram mount route rather than YakAttack. I like how you store your cords in the seat. I might have to try that. I put plugs on mine and store them in one of the scupper holes; probably not as good of an idea.

Okay that’s fair. If you did use a trailer, would you favor mounting the transducer underneath? However, that would make your transfer to another kayak difficult so I guess not.

Hey Tyler, Sorry for the dumb question on a video that is a year old, but... the ram balls.. B and C size.... do I need to buy them separate to go into the T-Bolt track base? or can use the balls just come off the transducer arm and the helix mount?
