Hi Guys! I've been getting a lot of dm's and questions about how I am doing in Chinese now that it's been a few months. Sorry that it's been so long, but I've been busy working full time and taking university courses full time this summer, so I haven't had time to create new videos. BUT I will be back by early September with updates on my Chinese studies and progress in the language! I am excited to share with you all how I've continued to improve. Thanks for hanging with me!

I give you a tip, if you want to learn hanzi faster, I recommend you to don't write the pinyin next to the character, write it on the back of the notebook or in another place, so when you see a hanzi several times and you try to rembemer the pronutiation, that way you will force your brain to understand and learn hanzi (plus new vocabulary)
@Blu.Ele.Study13 жыл бұрын
Thank you--That's a great idea!!! I will definitely try it for my next round of vocabulary to see how I like it.

Hi, Danica. I am learning Chinese. My native tongue is Spanish, though I am an English teacher. Would you practice Mandarin Chinese with me? In exchange, I could practice with/ teach you English or Spanish...
@Yufan_09293 жыл бұрын
@@victormello4585 Maybe you can start to understand the meaning of individual Chinese characters, and then understand some simple daily words. You can also buy Chinese picture books to accumulate vocabulary. If you have some Chinese questions, you can ask me but I am only a high school student, soI don't know how to teach you Chinese specifically.

@@Yufan_0929 Hello. I can see that you already have a good grasp of English, at least at writing. Perhaps I was not clear enough. I only need someone to practice talking. I've already mastered 300 words, levels HSK 1 & 2. Right now I am learning another 300 words, level HSK 3. If you want to practice speaking English with me, or learn Spanish, we could arrange to do so. Thanks a lot. Kind regards.

This is extremely random, but I just noticed that the stroke order for 里 (and the 里 part of 裡) is different for simplified and traditional. I’m learning traditional characters, and when you wrote 里 I questioned whether I’d been writing it wrong this whole time. Nope, just another simp./trad. difference detail lol
@Blu.Ele.Study13 жыл бұрын
Wow that is interesting--🤔 I know there are many differences in traditional vs. simplified writing but I didn't know that the stoke order for similar radicals could be different. Good luck with your studying!!😊 I commend you for learning traditional!

You wrote the wrong tone for 教 in your notes. It should be jiào. You're doing great though! I'm also learning Chinese for the first time. My methods are a bit different (all digital, no paper). Hope you go far!

太有意思了!我不可以想谁能学汉语一个人。真惊人的啊!!我从三个月前学习汉语。在大学学习汉语,我的专业是汉西翻译。一些遍我真要放弃了,但是现在我很多喜欢汉语,是很漂亮的语言。因为,我想去中国学习。还,想在中国工作。还加油吧! If you need one person to practice Chinese 我在这儿。我们可以做汉英的朋友。🐨🌸💗

Sometimes the hardest part is just getting started. If you have the funds and are fully dedicated, I would recommend researching to find and buy a textbook to follow. As a beginner it was nice to have structured lessons and chapters to follow since I self study. Hope this helps!! I'm always answering questions and having conversations with new learners in my instagram dm's, so send me a message there if you need more tips😁

How are you learning the pronunciation for all of these words?
@Blu.Ele.Study13 жыл бұрын
I learned the pinyin through the same textbook when I first began. The book has online audio which I used to hear the correct pronunciations, and now since I know pinyin I can easily pronounce any new words I learn
@jazmineendaya50133 жыл бұрын
I am curious. where did you buy this book? Thanks
@Blu.Ele.Study13 жыл бұрын
I bought it at a local bookstore near my university, but I believe there are many places online you can find it!👍
@sujinahh3 жыл бұрын
would u recommend those books for beginners? :]
@Blu.Ele.Study13 жыл бұрын
Yes! I think everyone should do their own research before committing to a textbook, but I personal think this is a great option. As a self-studier, I find the explanations easy for me to take in by myself without a teacher to help.
