How I set up my Gemini PMX 10 mixer for DVS on Virtualdj. Trial and Error for users.

Hi i have the Gemini PMX 10 mixer for DVS on Virtualdj and running the serato time coded vinyl and hey have you ever had any issuse with your of the music playing and then start playing backwards at all mine doesnt do it all the time but sometimes it does any advise would be great to stop that please.

oh and the PMX10 its connected to a laptop running windows 11 with high ram and cpu power

Clean the needle, change rca cords, and make sure the turntables are grounded

@@Djemazing that was the first thing that I ‘ve done running Ortofon Scratch-2 Scratch MkII Concorde Cartridge and Stylus with serato time coded vinyl as you need clean sound from converting analog to digital

@terrencegreentree5158 then it may be a grounding problem between the laptop or equipment. Another thing to add is to make sure your vinyl is clean as well.

Yes but it's not hooked up. With virtualdj the pmx10 is basically plug and play since it has it's own soundcard

No, it's only compatible through midi meaning you have to assign the buttons. Music will not come out the mixer if you're using serato dj
