Good point that I should have added. I really don't use them too much. It's got to be pretty banged up for me to go to the stones. I mostly keep my steel sharp and maintain that edge with a Bushcraft Leatherworks strop. :)

Nice work brother. Thanks for sharing. I have wanted Japanese water stones for years, but I'm too cheap to shell out $100 for them. I have a question, but I'll ask you on the other site (more room).

the adventure sworn knives are pretty good, but are not even close to an L.T Wright knife especially a scandi genesis

Pretty good? Dude they're all handmade lol they're a lot nicer than LT Wright knives. But that's pretty much subjective to the owner, anyway?

I own both, but i suppose its up to the person using the knife.😊

I can never get mine to have that mirror finish or to get hair shaving sharp. Its a scandi so I know i am doing something wrong.

Great vid! Just curious, do you know which AS blade that is and/or do you have specs for it (OAL, thickness etc). I'm an amateur and looking to get a nice bushcraft/campcraft knife ( for light batoning, feather sticks.fire sets, tent pegs etc.)

What was the white stone you used to put the slurry on the stones?

Why didn't you demo how sharp it was when you finished? You had a big stack of paper right there.

You went through all of that then didn't show us how sharp it is.
