How I Sharpen Spoon Knives - Mora Hook Knives my Sharpening Technique - 3 Stages - How To Video

This video is as a result of a few requests for a video explaining how I sharpen Spoon Knives. Its not an easy one and takes some practice but I hope you find my tips useful.
I am self taught and this particular task took longer to master than most, its not the only way to do it but, was the way I learned and how I do it today.

I put leather on the dowel then compound. Your right not needed. Great video

"How I sharpen spoon knives" I mean the video was great, but there is no sharpening going on at all, except that you explain that you seldom sharpen because you frequently strop. So if you need to sharpen you still have to keep looking for a video that will show you how that is done.

You are quite correct! I was also hoping to see some sharpening going on, but only saw the guy stropping. That is the final step - which is not at all sharpening!
