We have to figure out what sorting method works for us. I still love watching your stuff even if you are much more micro than I am 😊

He, Desiree! I love these honest, informative and inspirational videos! I too am able to spend cash when I’m out and about. I have only run into a couple of places that do not accept cash. At a professional ball game, the vendors only accept electronic pay. Also, our golf course does not accept cash. Maybe some venues do this to keep the clerks safe and honest. No big deal, I just pay the debits back with my cash. Keep up the great work❤

I haven't seen any comments about not being able to use cash but I have been some places prior to stuffing that only have a card reader and not a register/till. They did it for safety/convenience. I haven't seen many that do it, though. It's usually the other way around if they only take one type. I've noticed more cash only than card only.

As a former target employee my thoughts are so many people think that self check out is card only which isn't true unless the machine runs out and it's the employees responsibility to refill it. I have also seen a lot of stores low on funds to give out change. Like at wal Mart they have signs that say “debit/credit only” cash registers. Also a lot of people use stores as their own personal atm, people buy two dollars worth of items and want 60, 80,100 cash back and it messes up the cashier usually. I think people think that cash is going away and less stores are have a lot of change available but it's up to use cash spenders to show it's not going away anytime soon.

Great video Desiree! I love my stainless steel pans, I’ve had mine for years. If you take care of them they’ll look great for a long time. Your new blanket is beautiful, love the color! I can’t get anything like that because of my dog’s nails. It would look like a disaster quickly. Haha It was so fun seeing your town. I have had places not take cash if I am at a baseball game and another was concession and getting merchandise at a concert.

For those situations I just take the money out of my envelopes and take it back to the bank. I still use my card and there are some instances where they don’t take card payments. But for me I’ve noticed every day spending needs I can do in cash. Special occasion spending like going to a game or concert is not as frequent so I can still plan that out and save the money in an envelope and then when I’m at the event only spend up to the amount I have the envelope but just use my card to make the payments. You can even take the money back to the bank before you go to those places so it’s already there…this system definitely takes more effort and extra trips to the bank but doing this has really helped me to not overspend. Hope that all makes sense🤗

Depending on your discipline, using a cash back credit card can be a good idea. I pay for as much as possible with my Costco card, making sure to pay it back every month with my cash envelope $$, and got back close to $700 this year. Thoughts & prayers for your family.

Some check out lanes don't have cash. You just have to watch which lane. Also, one restaurant here says cats only. So, I guess it depends on where you are.

Omg this question again 😅 first off I like it. Second, I have a skin condition that I’m self conscious about so sleeves make me comfortable on camera. In my day to day it’s not an issue but zoomed in on my least favorite part it shows a little too much for me. Third it’s cold 😂 and fourth it looks so much better on camera..the aesthetic is way better than bare arms. So those are all of my reasons lol

I don’t cash stuff gas but I do budget for it. So that stays in the bank. I like to pay at the pump it’s just easier and if I go to Costco you can’t pay with cash so doesn’t make sense to have it on me if I’m always going to use my card. Now if I did choose to have a gas envelope that would stay in my wallet at all times so I would never leave home without it😅Hope that makes sense. Oh I forgot to mention I do have a road trip envelope but that’s only for when I go out of town and I will just pull the money out and take it to the bank. But everyday driving I just keep in the bank
