How I Spent Diwali | The Preparations | Pt. 1

Aunty Vidya reminds me of my mother in law, when it comes to their culture they’re so passionate. The preparation and cooking is always on point. Unfortunately in the US we don’t have the privilege of a holiday for Diwali as of yet … so after working an 8 1/2 hr shift I was only able to scramble up some channa and aloo and pumpkin and mother in law of course aunty Vidya’s way cause who has time to cut up anything 7pm at night 😭 with Roti from the Roti shop. And had a mini Diwali celebration 🪔

OMG!!! That prasad looks incredibly delicious...it has been roughly a decade since I had prasad or all other sweets that go with it...uncle can surely cook. Food looking Yum yum!
