I had a similar 18th, I celebrated my birthday with my family and my best friend by going out to dinner. Happy Birthday Saffron! I don't want to seem like I am hating, because I am not at all. I am not aware if the infusions you had were prescribed or recommended by a doctor; or if they were payed for yourself and you made the decision to have these infusions yourself. I just want you to be aware, that people paying for these infusions can be affecting people like me. I have watched your videos for a long time, and really enjoy your vlogs. However, I have a condition that means I cannot eat or drink meaning I have to receive intravenous nutrition(Parenteral Nutrition) every night through a line into my heart, just to keep me alive. The vitamins people pay to be infused... these IV Vitamins are a life line for people like myself . Without my intravenous nutrition, that includes all the nutrition(including vitamins) I need, I would not be here. These type of infusions have become popular, especially in the USA and amongst celebrities. The popularity of these infusions means that at times, they have played in the rule of shortages of these vitamins - especially in the US( the infusions seem to not be so popular in the UK yet, but is growing). This means that people that rely on Parenteral Nutrition are at risk of having certain vitamins in their bags lowered. For people like me, this is the ONLY source of nutrition we get. The risk of vitamins, electrolytes etc being lowered for us could make some intravenous nutrition patients very sick. All for this "beauty" treatment that, most of time is self-prescribed. Like I said before, if this was recommend or prescribed by a professional that is a different story. It just makes me upset seeing someone I regularly watch having these infusions, which could affect my health if too many people receive these. But I understand that the majority of people receiving these infusions are unaware of how they could affect others. You could have the option to take vitamins in the way of tablets, increasing the vitamins you need in your diet etc. We don't. It's our only option. I hope I haven't come across harsh it is just something I feel very strongly about and thought you needed to be aware.

I have just seen you stated that you had bloods and need it. If thats the case , please try have B12 Injections at your GP. These companies make profit of people paying for these infusions and it is not helpful to health care services.

Olivia Coomber I’m not doubting that a doctor said she needed them, like I said. However if that is the case she should NOT be paying to receive the infusions at a beauty salon. She would be going to her GP to receive injections or supplements. Most likely they would work better than the infusions she’s getting as the dose will be tailored to how much the B12 is lowered in her blood work. At salons, they just give you the amount they provide. She shouldn’t be paying someone that’s making profit off these infusions that some people use for beauty treatments. If I didn’t have these infusions I wouldn’t be alive.

I hope you’ve had blood work done by your doctor before and after these injections. You should only have vitamin injections if you’re actually deficient. I have b12 injections because I’m deficient in it. There’s no benefit to a healthy person having vitamin injections because the body won’t absorb more than it needs. You need healthy levels, not surplus. If your gp won’t give them you it’s because you don’t need them. These private companies offering them are money making schemes

Yeah that's very dangerous as Iv drugs can only be given by a doctor and it looks like she went to a cosmetic studio to get it done !! Ive to get B12 injections and never been told about an iv and noway would a doctor say to get that done either !!

Exactly.... I have *never* heard of a legit GP prescribing an IV infusion of B12, instead of an IM injection. The only people who practice this are private companies, whom exploit rich folk who actually believe that your body absorbs excess vitamins. You're basically playing to make your pee very expensive!
