Polly P, I love your enthusiasm towards mother earth, anyways since you like to sell on the second darry market.adults collect those dirty toy trucks..before you snip the wire of the speaker's, there's a high demand for quality speaker's.look at the brand before you cut.it could mean hundreds of Aussie dollar's? @ now the second Derry market for pot@ pans are or anything you cook with could be worth hundreds of Aussie dollar's in your pocket.polly I love your content. @ I like it that you text your subscriber's back when you can.

Hello from the U.S. ! My son and I scavenge here and find sooooo many useful (some new) items we keep for ourselves or sell at yard sales. My son micro scraps, because he doesn't have a truck to haul large items. So he reclaims copper, brass, bronze, extruded aluminum, small engines to repair or tear down, and some items he removes parts to sell as replacements. He also repairs and refurbishes computers. We've found computers, coins, jewelry, brand new appliances in the box, brand new clothing with tags still attached, brand new shoes in the box, tons of household decor and items. We folks in the U.S. are very wasteful and because of this, I rarely have to go to a store to buy anything "new". I shop thrift stores and also look for things to resell from there. It's so much better to reuse, restore, resell or recycle than to continue to be part of the corporate driven consumer machine.

Just unloaded a ute load this morning the trailer is chocka block full for a friday run, our town is doing the first kerbside since beginning of co-vid and the streets are loaded big time. I finish work at 4:30, head on home and pick up as much steel scrap as possible and load the ute and then take it to the scrapper in the morning. Since last Friday $1400 so far, not bad. I am on a mission. 😁👍 Great vid and great treasures, be safe and go get that scrap. Trash to treasure Brad

@@PolyProphet Hey Poly, gas cylinders are a bit up in the air, I usually open fully and leave for a month or too and then drill 2 holes in the side and fill with water and leave a bit more. Out comes a a bigger drill bit bigger enough to shove a air blower into and blow air into the now dead cylinder. There is good brass in them but be careful. This is what I do, I am not suggesting you do the same. A bit time consuming but the brass soon adds up, probably blow myself up one day, gotta go out with a bang I suppose.😁

You definitely can take them to the scrapyard though you’d need to meet the minimum weight requirement that most yards have here. My yard is minimum 350kg. Others I’ve been to is 1ton. Once they are familiar with you they may let it slide. Thanks for the question kellie 😊🙏🤙

Here in Adelaide we are only allowed 2 pickups a calendar year and the majority of the items you collect we aren’t even allowed to include in ours piles……..all the electrical equipment, scrap metal, appliances, building supplies, car batteries, car parts, computer components ect aren’t allowed in our pickups

@@PolyProphet sorry for the late reply….. so anything electrical we can either take to Bunnings and drop in their specialised bins kept out the front of the stores. Bigger items such as white goods ect and any other metal items we either have to scrap ourselves or find someone local that does Free Scrap pickups. Smaller things such as batteries, cans ect I personally take to my local depot as those items can fit in our car and since watching you and others on here I’ve also been taking thre transformers ect out of items like microwaves…..although if I need to get a big pickup that we can’t do ourselves I will make sure to leave all the ‘goodies’ inside the items especially considering someone like you is doing me a favour by removing the larger items at their own cost.

Yes I have toys and tools to sell. As well as hardware and shoes. Mainly smalls that fit into these black fold up plastic crates or milk crates. Easy load and unload 👍👍

Mr. Prophet, You picked up a cat door and kitty litter So I assume you have a kitty. I realize this vid is over a year old, but do you still have the kitty? What's his/her name? =^..^= I will be so lost when I am all caught up on your videos. So entertaining! :)

wish you pricks would stop cutting the cords off Tv's Can't believe you left that gerni behind bro. fairly big motor and ally/brass pump head inside. Plus, probably just clean out the off loader valve and there's an easy 150

@@PolyProphet Yeah, most flat screens are a simple fix. None of them last very long because of the cheap ass components they build them with. NEVER find them with their remotes though!

Hi Nancy. I arrive just before the garbage truck does. Imagine for a moment that I didn’t go out saving what I could. Most of the steel in my trailer would be crushed and sent to landfill. All the cords would be in landfill too. It’s better to save something rather than nothing no?
