HOW I STAY MOTIVATED

How do I stay motivated? The question that comes up a lot and that I could talk about for a long time, but I kept it brief because I'm tired lol. In all seriousness though, I love a good challenge and just being a leader of what I do instead of a follower. Hope you guys get something out of this video and if you do, I will do more. Depression is an extremely messed up challenge I'm pretty sure most of Us face right now, as it has killed My motivation many times, as it even has in fact definitely killed lots of kind hearted people that don't deserve it...... 😢 I've had times where I was so miserable, I actually made an attempt, as I felt so dull and empty inside... This video hits heavy. I got into guitar and heavy music from my parents divorce. Turning negative emotions and thoughts into something productive can change a lot of things. A lot of people don't understand how brutal music is an amazing outlet for depression/anger. Great insight man, I've hit a wall with guitar and have been having issues improving and have a tough time picking up the damn thing lol. Your videos and others like it really help me get motivated to keep pushing to play. Thanks for what you do!

Well done, you seem to have a disciplined schedule. If you don't mind asking, what kind of school you are going to? Did you return to scholl to complete it or you are continuing education? I went to get a second degree with a full time job and family. One of the toughest things to do. Reading books to get more knowledgeable is one thing ,going to school and having a schedule in order to complete it ,is a whole different level.

i like these type of chill videos. I was introduced to brutal music by a friend who killed himself, VHS deicide cannibal corpse cryptopsy and I also after school would copy those bands, sadly drugs consumed me and I spent my 20s in prison and treatment. I found working out locked up and loved it. 36 now, I work to help addicts and spend my time in the gym, just got a new guitar and amp, starting with deeds of flesh copying there music like I'm 17 again. I always remember that scene from airheads where the DJ asks him about his grim reaper tattoo. It’s kind of a goofy tattoo and the DJ assumes it means nothing but Brendan Frasier’s character says it’s the grim reaper waiting for him and if he doesn’t get his ass in motion he’s going to waste his life. For him that means he’s got to get his band going. I always loved that scene. It’s kind of a goofy movie (I still love it, you can’t pluralize the Lone Ranger, dude!) but that part’s serious. I really wish I’d stuck with playing guitar. I tried picking it up again, but after getting a lot bigger and stronger since I stopped playing-not to mention since I started using gear-I’ve noticed that when I try to play now my forearms burn like hell. I don’t know how you do it. Maybe I’m just not being consistent enough to get used to the new stimulus.

After school and homework, it was always meeting up with friends and go hang out somewhere. I am 61 in a few months and when I jump on my road bike( bicycle) and ride 100k my phone stays at home and off. I have a cycling computer I do t need s phone.

I see a ton of boomers doing that shit. One guy was in his big, lifted Chevy with his arms slouched over the steering wheel holding his phone up. This was in a residential area too where people were walking their dogs and kids were playing. The guy could barely see over the dashboard as it is. Also, people will ride your ass because they're trying to look at their phones and the rear of your car at the same time to know they're not going too slow. I seriously thought it was illegal, and if it is, there is no way it is enforced.
