Hi Luke. I’m a painter. I’m at that crux where I feel like my skill is starting to bump up a notch or two but that being said it’s also a realization of how much more there is to learn, experience and try to implement. Absolutely! Exploring the world of art is like exploring a never ending library. there's so much to learn and so much you can pull out of yourself with your work. I don't think one can truly master all that encompasses all of "art" but one can spend a lifetime learning! Enjoy your journey and best of luck with painting!

Great video, Dogs are my favorite subject and no one makes videos like you in real time. I totally recognize myself in the previous comment, I need to slow down 😅 And you are right about “the care” I’m a photographer also and always thinking about how to photograph my work for instagram.

Great video, makes me realize how i need to slow down with my work and be more deliberate with my strokes. Im always in a rush and i dont know why.

Thank you! I try my best to do all the color mixing on my palette so I can be more direct with my brush work. I have the opposite problem, I always take to long 😆

I deleted all my social medias in 2020 when I realized how much of my mental capacity was being put towards things that wasn't "making my best stuff". It was game-changing and very liberating mentally. I only use KZbin now and just try and make my best stuff. We have a very different process to our paintings but I really dig your work! Cheers from BC! p.s. did you make the easel from the DrawMixPaint guy Mark Carter? I made one for my desk top, looks super similar to yours haha Brothers from different coasts 🤣

I have taken many brakes from posting in the past and I couldn't agree more how refreshing it feels. I do like to share my work and progress so I feel as though I have a better relationship with social media now and it helps me reach and interact with new people, while still doing my best to not let it manipulate how I feel about my own story. And absolutely! DrawMixPaint is such a massive staple to my studio and practice. I still follow his colour mixing guides very closely!
