What are your thoughts on trading pure price action trading? Do you think it’s better to use orderflow tools instead of pure price action in general? Which major orderflow tools would you recommend?

Everything works and everything doesn't. I know some people who make a killing with just support resistance and price action. You are the edge not the trading tools

This is exactly it, I dont think that 1 single tool is the be all and end all. If you can create a system with positive expectancy and rules to follow, you can make it. In terms of pure price action, FOR ME its a no, I use auction theory and order flow, delta, footprint and dom. All are no needed, I have traders that use auction theory only with 10% order flow like FP or delta

Pure price action works, you just need combination of pinbar (failed breakout) + Quasimodo HTF + LTF, target 1-2% per month on each funded 200k-500k accounts. Obviously, no definitive confirmation of trapped traders from orderflow is a set back that can impact your emotion. However, able to read market context + pinbar/quasimodo + execution + position management are sufficient to make a living in day trading.
