I've done this a different way, not really knowing for sure how to do it. I like your way better and looks much easier than the way I was doing it.

Top man, just about to do this to a Torsion Disc G Becker (marked BHA). I was going to dip the lot in Horolene ammonia liquid.

Another job well done Derek. My only suggestion is your title again to add the words "Torsion/Anniversary Clock" to allow all audiences to find your video. Keep them coming my friend.

@@munnerlyn3 Thanks Mark I remember you telling me to add Anniversary to the title before ( done )

Can you do a video about polishing the plates? If you lacquer them how do you not get lacquer in the pivot holes?
@torsiondell4 ай бұрын
@@nicksantitoro I just do the same as the base to polish plates just minimal polish on cloth, i never lacquer plates although I have in the past I just use Renaissance wax , on early clocks they are not lacquered anyway but later ones are so don’t clean in ammonia solution for long otherwise it will remove lacquer, if you want to lacquer plates just peg all holes lacquer then remove peg by twisting them to remove
