My routine: Damp hair 1 small drop of beard oil or specific hair oil, work in Blow dry and shape with fingers Small piece (5p size) layrite moulding creme I think it’s called Hair spray to finish and hold. Layrite is 100% the best hair product I have ever used. Perfect balance between matte with a tiny bit of shine with good hold and easily washes out. It’s great because it doesn’t feel like you have any product in your hair at all.

American Crew Matt Clay? You mean Molding Clay? Well, I've tried that one: love the scent and the packaging, which brings me memories, but it has a greasy texture, leaves a greasy texture to the hair and looks greasy. It's hold is also not high. It's not even a clay. A real clay feels much dryer, thicker, heavy, and has a higher hold, and a less shiny finish
