Cool beans, Hailey! I do exactly what you do. ETA: after I put product in it, I finger-coil some ringlets and it really works - just gently separate them when it’s mostly dry. I tried Curly Girl method for years and it was utterly exhausting. This routine and avoiding heat (minus a few touch-ups with a roller) really works well for me. Happy to see I’m not the only one! You be prosperous too, sweet girl! 😉😘

If you’re trying to avoid heat look up finger coiling for curls! It helps curl up those pieces the way you want 😊

This might sound so weird, but do you brush your hair at all before styling? Like when you’re in/out of the shower? What brush do you use? Any time I put mousse in my hair it ends up looking greasy/crunchy 🤦🏻‍♀️

After if drys and is in the crunchy state, go ahead and scrunch you hair without any extra product. It will break the cast and your hair will be soft again

When I want my curls, I also, use mousse and argan coconut oil. I also, use the argan coconut conditioner...it is a must for my hair. Copycat 😂

@@iambentlee Your hair is curlier and thicker than my hair. My hair is thin, but looks thick. Last few years, I have done the keratin brazilian hair treatments, so my hair is less frizzy, I don't have to use heat on my hair for about 5 months. I, am getting it done in the next week, BUT I trust my hair stylist whom does the Keratin hair treatments. For you.. No more unknown hair stylists 😱.
