I really enjoyed this. You are right, im abiut to do my qst winter and im full of anxiety lol. I think im good for the winter though. I think where i am is a little tiny bit warmer but definitely just as long of a winter as you. I am excited and anxious for spring to come lol. Thank you for sharing how you find success

Hello looks like you have got your girls under control for winter. I had five colonies this year super ceed there queen the second week of November an no drones ( dumb mistake) so I just combined all those but I did not loose my bees so that is just part of it an it works out just fine . You was asking about having brood year round . Ya I agree I have never saw my girls shut down totally even it is just a small baseball size patch or smaller . Our weather is not really bad here in NC but we are having a lot of colder temps this winter than we have had in years down in the 10’s for a week an getting rain the next three days then cold again .
