good vid. ya you were gonna get raided as soon as you got offline. But it was almost a gardtee because you didn't have an external TC meaning if they hti your TC they could just slow raid you the rest of the way without much effort bunker or not.

Combined with the massive cheating issue the state of gameplay these days is why I no longer play. As a solo I can easily pvp with like 3 and 4 man groups but if the larger groups just constantly swarm, make big wide flanks as a group, pvp rocket or use campers there isn't much you can do. I think I'm officially done after 5k hrs

Rust just got swallowed by the casualization like many other games due to milking the cash cow (casual bots and roleplayes)... dull and boring PVP, a to fast progression and a just "to easy" overall at the current state - every update since the tech tree just catered bad and lazy players, unemployed kids with 24/7 of time to play and groups/zergs. I also fiinally got to an end with my chapter of Rust while playing it since 2014 and being thankfull that i could enjoy the "better days" with a lot of good memories. I can't take this shithole of game for nobrains, toxic kids, unemployed losers and hackers anymore in which the devs forced it into since 2021 (thanks OTV and crying streamers and most of all greedy Allistair) - and yeah i would still give a lot to play Rust again in any state between 2016-2019. Even the Rust content is just overall boring, monoton and hard to watch - that's why i can't watch more than a handful of youtubers anymore with real joy - but that is just because of their storytelling and character/charisma - Hydie, Taunted, Willjum, Blooprint, Calli - watching others sometimes takes me some brakes because i am bored or just plane annoyed how shit the game and especially PVP got .

I can't tell you how sad it is to see Rust in its current state. At some point, even the last player who loves a good, hard and above all skill-based PVP and who has put time, heart, blood and dedication into the game will turn his back on it. When I see players like Mad00ck and his group, I could just puke - toxic, feel superior even though they just have numbers but not a hint of skill or gamesense are found and even need rocket pvp to raid a solo.... it is just plane numbers and time put in by all those bots which matters and can't be compensated by the skill and dedication of someone who is better but doesn't have the numbers - and such idiots got and still being catered by Facepunch so that solos or small groups even if they are a lot more skillfull, still have no chance because the PVP/recoil/progression has become way too easy and the game too unbalanced. All i had in terms of PVP the last couple wipes were groups camping on their roof or 1 grid around their base and just getting offlined over and over because they are even to scared to raid when having 6+ more players.... even on Vital i couldn't get a fcking online raid or barely good PVP because also on a fcking 10x noone was roaming. It wasn't the hard recoil/learning curve or the scripters that ruined the game, it was Facepunch themselves who sold the core and the soul of the game to casuals for money and publicity and with the RNG effect also offered hackers even more possibilities (humanized anticheat is almost ineffective and EAC simply incapable) - i never have seen so much blantant hackers in my years of playing. After almost 10 years I have now also turned my back on the game - thanks Hydie for your content, which nevertheless always remains interesting and something special thanks to your style and charisma - I hope that you can continue to generate fun and enjoyment from the game for a long time to come - my Chapter of Rust is history
