PP stall strats via persistent pivots is a valuable nuzlock tool. It can make openings where one wasn't available before. Another tool you could have used is pre-poisoning a pokemon before a fight to avoid more hindering status conditions. IDK if Sue had guts, but you could have made them immune to other status conditions (like para and sleep) while also giving them a 50% damage boost from having them poisoned before the fight with Larry.

That's what I did with Iono in my second Scarlet attempt. Switched between Clodsire and Gumshoes until it had to resort to using Struggle

Good job on realizing when you were backed into a corner and deciding on making some necessary sacrifices in order to win. That is something that most starting Nuzlockers don't consider at first since they're uncertain of how to proceed when the domino's start to fall. There was ALOT of room for improvement, but you did good for a hardcore nuzlock.

Another thing that makes Iono's Mismagius even scarier is that there was a terastalization mechanic found a bit back. That mechanic is that when terastalized, any move that is lower than 60 base power is buffed to 60 base power when you are using a move of the type you terastalized into (unfortunately, it takes place after Technician instead of before, so you can't do something like 90 bp Trailblaze on Scizor). So Mismagius is hitting you with base 60 power Charge Beams instead of base 50 power

Seeing your first video after watching your Pokemon Movie Series was really fun! I really liked the editing. The jokes were landing and u nearly got me crying. Pokemon Scarlet was one of my favorite nuzlocke experiences and it came down to the wire with a Screamtail surviving with 3 hp as my last teammember at the end of the game. Said elation and melancholy at everyone who died in that last battle was immediately ruined by the sudden reminder of the Ed Sheeran credits song

Sorry watching your videos out of order but, a friend of mine wants to do a friendlocke, decided to get excited about it since they haven’t played Scarlett yet, (and I’ve bought the DLC) and am planning on making a file to do a nuzlocke with them, thank you for the inspiration! If you do a challenge like this again, there’s one more thing you need to be aware of: Type overlaps. Type overlaps are when you use 2 or more Pokémon with the same type, and since you need type diversity to win a nuzlocke, I wouldn’t recommend using type overlaps. Anyway, Legends Arceus hardcore nuzlocke when? I just want to see that

of course! so basically I had the map split into a bunch of different sections, each one being a different encounter. I'd flip a coin to determine if I'd get a random wild encounter or a Tera raid encounter in that area. if I got a wild encounter, I'd just randomly pick from the pokemon available in that area and if it was a Tera raid I'd just go to the one closest to me. and after beating a gym I'd be able to catch 3 more pokemon, so I start with only 3 encounters before the first gym, so I can't run around and catch a bunch before a gym

Never face Iono without a Normal AND Ground type on a Nuzlocke. Then you can bait Hexes into the Normal Type then switch to Ground for the Charge Beam. Sucks we don't have a Normal/Ground type in the game to make that easier.
