Been using Craft Docs for my note taking but I have realized I spend so much time on making them look nice, create a hierarchy as I write etc. and it takes away from the actual purpose - improving through note taking. These points - and how you implement them in InkDrop - make me want to both implement them myself, but also support you and your great work by giving InkDrop a try! P.S: Your English has improved IMMENSELY. Keep that up!
@v1d300 Жыл бұрын
> spend so much time on making them look nice, create a hierarchy as I write etc ikr! This is one of the reasons I have a love-hate relationship with Notion. I have personally stopped using Notion, whenever I use Notion I feel like I am putting more time in re-organizing it and optimizing it to make it better. So now I only use Notion when I need to, working with other people as there aren't many good tools that make collaborating docs easier to manage.

@@emacomm I'd be interested in hearing that as well. Not only because he has both an artist's, but also an engineer's mind. but also because he explain himself and his introspections well. This seems like a rare combination with some intersting insights into the process and building that skill.

This is the first video I'm watching of you speaking English, and not only do I think your English is good, but your speaking skills are also pretty high standard in terms of content creation. Well paced speech and well-placed intonation changes that keeps my attention. I usually don't make such comments nor would I say I'm knowledgeable on speaking skills, but I felt somehow impressed enough to compel me to comment on it, nice work

Same. I have mad respect for that. I was positively surprised when he casually showed his sketchbook at 3:50. As he is so deep into coding, I didn't expect that he'd be a proficient artist as well. He reached a level of competency in two areas of interest that I dabble in. But usually those are two mostly distinct communities.

I am also deep into Obsidian, yet paradoxically try to avoid its biggest strength, i.e. the many plugins. As I try not to get locked into one Tool's workflow. Then again, there's no risk of getting locked in since, ultimately, your Vault is still mostly Markdown Files without special syntax.

Peace and Love my friend! Your pronunciation improved significantly from the last time I was listen you speaking. I'm a mess with taking notes. I like to have them on the whiteboard, in vimwiki mess and in random places, where they are lost after short time. They are always just a keywords, sometimes links, numbers, dates... Just to offload a head from new candidate to the solution, or new problem to investigate. Technically similar motivation to your, practically different approach. After this video I'm thinking about giving a try with making notes a bit more expressive.

Awesome! Maybe I missed part, but it can be much cooler with something like graph of keynotes. Like notion or obsidian do. So basically it gather information by related key and you can see and search easier in scope of the information! Also I think I will try Inkdrop and see about configs and hotkeys, maybe even neovim integration can be very helpful to code and make notes on the fly without leaving terminal! Domo arigato for this knowledge sharing!

Wow, incredible how extensive your notes are. I also try to take notes on a daily basis but sometimes struggling how to organize them on a tree view. E.g. what is the top level domain for a document, to which node does it belong. Maybe better to work with a more flattened approach by using labels. However, somehow I also rather look into my projects to see how I solved specific taks in the past instead of take a look into my notes to remember :D
