This guide is based on the 2007 KZbin video titled "VJ Kung Fu: Build a Projector Mount That Will Go Anywhere": • VJ Kung Fu: Build a Pr... . Shout out to @psensibil for helping me with this DIY mount the first time I built it.
I have been using this mount for all my live visual shows. Without it, it would not be possible for me to set up my projector on ceilings at music venues on the day of, and then easily take it down at the end of the show. This couple hundred dollar project makes your projector useable in so many situations.

You will also need a wooden board (cut to your projector's length x width), a drill, an electric screwdriver, wood screws, bolts (with threads that match your projector's mounting holes), and washers & nuts.
