This was life changing for me. I hate my thick hair, and I don't like hair styling. Super easy, took 30 minutes and I took about 50% of the thickness of my hair out. it would be uneven, because it’s gonna be layered. if you want to have thinner hair and shorter, i suggest thin out your hair first and then cut it

Guysssss, I tried this and I REALLY wanted it to work and be great!….. I guess it does “thin” your hair, but it leaves you with SO MANY fly aways 😫😫😫 I personally regret the hell out of doing this. If you are someone that does tight buns, or wears their hair up a lot, do NOT do this. There will be sooooo many fly aways you have to try and fix with hairspray/gel. 🥹

You don't wet it, you make it damp. And don't do it from the middle. Get the top section of your hair and clip it back, then you want to razor it, lightly, all around the section that's under the top section you've just clipped. Idk if I make sense

You don't damp your hair cause some parts will be longer than the other and when the other parts dry it will be short than the rest and don't do it from the top cause your will get freeze hair past experience

It looks like she is just taking off the split ends. I watched a hair dresser do the same thing but with scissors. You just twist the hair and cut of the split ends along the length of the hair. If want to truly thin out/texturize your hair, you need to use thinning shears. So search youtube for thinning shears or something similar.

Its affordable; efficient and it looks great! 😃👍💕 I didn't always twist it just piece by piece I use the razor blade like a comb from the bottom up. The twist way works brilliantly as well and with thick a** hair like mine and yours; "un-eveness" goes with the territory as there is so much hair its unreal ! It's the BEST solution to thinning our thicker hair on a budget especially right now when a salon visit would normally cost between 💸50-100 dollars MINIMUM🤯 just for a wash, cut , blowdry straight and thinning it out at the end. that last step as I learned via KZbin how to layer my hair, fraying the ends but had no special scissors ✂️🚫 to finish by thinning this heavy melon of hair weighing down my head hurting my neck and a plethora of other issues us thick hair humans deal with - so in regards to "uneven" comment...thick ass hair grows back like a weed so anything to help control it without needing a salon💈 appointment is a godsent! 💇🏻‍♀️👍👍🌟.thank u so much for sharing! 😃 🎀💈

Yes, You can do it with a razor, but now i'm using thinning shears is more easy and less dangerous because you can take more control of the hair you cut and if you want thinner still use some type of hair oil like argan. The beard razor does not have grooves like thinning scissors or a special barber razor these grooves make it cut inside each strand and not outside that's give more natural results
