In Thailand, you guys don't wear shoes or slippers while driving? please elaborate on the reason behind that one Jim.

when you get stopped by the cops, you can plead poverty. Useful info: It is illegal to drive topless in Thailand!

IF I have trainers (sneakers) on, I wear them to drive, no problem... However, more often than not, I go out with flip flops or sliders on, in which case I find it safer to drive barefoot as the backs flap about (I usually keep flip flops in the car and just go to the car from my door shoeless). Over the years, it has become habit. For example, when I go to the UK and wear shoes to drive, it feels horrible and like I have less control; you can 'feel' the car more barefoot.

I see your point Jimmy, most of the time I only wear flip flops, shorts and a T-shirt. But I do drive with my flips flops on 😁🩴🩴@@JBWanders73

Ah, you have flip flop skills that are far greater than mine mate! We should be heading back to England for 3 weeks over Xmas, so I will have to get used to driving all wrapped up again because it's going to be cold, cold, cold hehe

I enjoyed that Jimmy. What a result getting that trip to NZ, totally agree with Paul's comments about rote learning not teaching problem solving and critical thinking, two skills we're badly in need of right now IMO

Speaking of nuns....Four nuns die and reach the Pearly Gates. Saint Peter is there next to a font of holy water. When the first nun stands before him, Peter asks, "Have you committed any sin, my child?" The nun replies, "I am ashamed to admit it, but I once looked upon a penis." Peter says, "It is all right, child. Wash your eyes with holy water and your sin will be absolved." The nun dips her face in the font holy water to wash her eyes and she is allowed in. When the second nun stands before him, Peter asks, "Have you committed any sin, my child?" The nun replies, "I am ashamed to admit it, but I once touched a penis." Peter says, "It is all right, child. Wash your hands with holy water and your sin will be absolved." The nun dips her hands in the font of holy water to wash them and she is allowed in. When the third nun stands before him, Peter asks, "Have you committed any sin, my child?" The nun opens her mouth to respond, but is immediately pushed to the side by the fourth nun. "Why did you push her?" Peter questions. The fourth nun replies: "I want to gargle before she sticks her ass in there."
