The interview with Princess Anne and Capt. Philips was bloody hilarious and how Anne described the ideal. This man is a hero.

Absolutely. And how she said she was talking quite politely to her would be kidnapper until her dress tore at the back. Then she got cross. She is quite a lady.

@@charleswatson1093 he was shot in the line of duty. He should have had access to physiological help as a bare minimum, in my opinion he should have been offered retirement with a full pension straight after that event, the man is a hero.

What a boss of a dude. Like here’s a dude that happily risked his life to protect his charge, and got shot three times. Everyone should go watch the Princess Anne interview about this by the way, she’s a bloody tough cookie.

Jim Beaton was awarded the George Cross, the highest civilian honour in the UK. The GC was established by the Queen's father, King George VI, to honour civilians who had committed selfless acts of bravery during the London Blitz in the Second World War.
