Nice digs 4 the bike. I picked a 6'6" by 16' so we could hang if it rained during track days and have rearranged it multiple times to accommodate.

I want to haul my Honda Trail 125. One thing I found though, it was with an open trailer my first time, is my god it felt so light and bouncy back there. I have trapped the bike down well, compressed it, but I am not sure if this is good for the bike or is it ok? I would prefer to haul with trailer of a sort as don't want to buy a truck with bed just to haul my bike around the odd trop in the summer... Thoughts or any experience with this cheers.

It’s a light small trailer so it will be a bit bouncy but it doesn’t bounce while going down the road. It’s pretty solid. As long as it’s strapped down well it will be fine.

Nice setup. Unfortunately 5x8s are too short for the new Harleys. Nice paint job. Picking up a 6x 10. Just ordered a LA wheel chock made for in Alabama .

Thanks! Yeah 5x8 is a little small for bigger bikes. 6x10 is a good size even for multiple sport bikes.

Hey hey! Thanks a lot brotha! Yeah using a pickup isn’t bad, but I feel using a trailer whether it’s open or enclosed is much easier for loading purposes. Plus it has a ton of other uses!

Yes, trailers or not too expensive nowadays (as a matter of fact prices keep falling?). It's okay to have even more than one, but different in size, volume, weight, height, storage designs inside/outside power supplies (solar, Lithium, inverters), ads to the outside, etc.. Im renting a 5x8 U-Haul for hauling my Versys 1000. They claim at door opening a height of 58" which is almost the same as the free height to top of Versys windscreen. I see your head was very close and not getting down low enough riding up the ramp could end very badly. I would advise wearing some type of helmet when doing the loading.

I parallel parked my bike to the back of one of those, and tied it to it, and figured that’s how it worked, you just use the motorcycle wheels as the other 2 wheels for the trailer. Unfortunately I learned200 miles later that my wheels can’t turn like that

Not quite sure but I would assume it could potentially fit. Would be tough trying to get it in and out. I would go bigger for something like that. At least a 6x12. I think a 5x8 is better suited for sport bikes and small sportsters.

Looks great, do away from straps and get a Pitbull TRS. Think I met you in Jennings this year. I was parked right opposite you. Oh you probably already have gone to TRS, lol. I use Condor or Baxtley chocks only, have seen others bend. Been transporting bikes for many many years, no failures

I’d imagine it would be a really tight fit. Maybe two sport bikes, but not sure on a cruiser and sport bike. Maybe one in backwards and one in forward. Really with this size one can comfortably fit. I think if you are wanting to go two I’d go with a 6x12.

Pitbull Restraint system is great, until you own multiple bikes with different mounts. In my case I'd have to spent more than 1500 Euros on multiple of these and buy a new one every time I change a bike.... not cool. I'll never get whats wrong with a quality automatic ratchet strap.

There are people who have their entire trailer setup with pitbull restraints for ll of their bikes. Just depends on your budget.
