Was it not expensive not having a base for so many years?
@AnthonyDo2 ай бұрын
Well anytime I was going to a destination, a project was taking me there which meant alot of the expenses were covered or I was actually making money. And I would hop project to project, country to country. But also, if you just square up the cost of living in a western country with like rent, groceries, car cost etc.... its actually more cost effective to use that same sum in a different country where you get more value. I think its a misconception that travel is expensive sometimes. Have you tried the lifestyle before? Whats your take on it?

Thanks for sharing this! I really liked how you said "if you ever find this type of self-love, double-down on it. It probably means youre on the right path". I had this kind of "self-love" when I did my first solo travel as a language stay in London. I met so many people from different countries and cultures all over the world. For me, the passion was kinda just meeting and talking with these new people. Do you know any methods to discover the other passion for the work-life? I think, it's not so easy. Currently, I am 19 years old.
@AnthonyDo2 ай бұрын
Wow what a great experience you had from your short story. I think life is great at giving us little clues along the way when it comes to discovering our passion/purpose. For me, before I picked up a camera - I never noticed I was always the guy documenting life at parties and social events. It even goes back way further than that. I would try to take a magnifying glass through your history and see what your attention/habits/excitement went when you were young. Its always fun to ask your parents what did you love as a child because you may have some memories that slipped through the cracks. My guess from the little I know you is that if you loved language, culture, and people - you have a love for storytelling. Specifically in human stories. That could come out in the form of creative work, ethnographer, branding, social work - its endless. If you are overwhelmed with making a choice, the best course of action is ALWAYS to just try something and cross it off the list. Thank you for writing your comment - made my day.
