As a girl in South Africa, it’s so interesting to hear you say “please catch an Uber or taxi” because that’s very dangerous for us here… we can’t walk or take Ubers without carrying a self defence weapon I have had many many bad encounters on Uber in South Africa

@@dariahonokhova6974 if you have your own car that is what most women do but women that live in settlements and rural areas have to take Ubers and taxis … which is why our assault statistics look the way they do :( we don’t have trains, trams, bus systems or any efficient transport that is safe or reliable (doesn’t even work half of the time)
