I have a kid soul too, same gen. I just throw an air mattress on the folded seats. This looks 10x better.

Go for it. I have a 2011 kia and im really in love with it. love the cabin is really big . The must i like is the sound of the high power on the front. love driven on the highway per hours with the radio on. i feel so relaxing when i driven . every weekend i going for a field trip just to driving on my kia. Hope you achieve your goal

I don’t have any video of it actually, but it wasn’t so bad! I had this mesh window covers to block out the windows and I also had tinted windows as well!

So I’m 6 2, and I got really tight. Put my head through the middle compartment when I slept and my seats were all the way up.

😂 "It's really just a bed and some storage." Yep. Not much to see there but maybe once you get it set up and organized you can show us what you're taking on your journey. I'm in a SUV and I haven't removed the seats yet so I'm always interested in what other people consider essential, especially in a small vehicle.

Yo, HOw tall are you? Cause I went to see a 2010 kia to do just that. and Im 6' tall and im pretty sure I would need to do some shenanigans with the front seats to be able to lay down completly

Sleeping diagonally seemed to do the best in terms of sleeping, but it was a bit tight for someone over 6 feet. Not ideal, but it worked for what I used it for.

Great build video. Maybe id add a few more things to give it more of an overniter' camper feel. I might have missed seeing tbem since i sped ahead a bit....but throw a few essentials under the lid like a small porta-pottie, square water jug, dry food/can storage, air mattress/blanky',. Screw a few 1x4 4 foot pieces somehow above the windows snd attach hooks and little boxes to store stuff. Attach garbage bags on rear side windows to keep folks from seeing inside. Add a few basic Kerui motion alarms so you can wake up if prowlers or snimals are near the soul at nite in dicey areas. But great vid. I am tempted to get a used 2010 with 200k kilometers but im perhaps "listening too much" to the many reviews saying that Soul engines are short lived and Souls are bad used car purchases.

I’m honestly not too sure, but I do think weight does affect that so I’m sure the mileage was worse. Not by a drastic amount though.

That's great if you are 3'9" or only sleep in the fetal position. And forget ever sitting up in bed. Not to mention it would be sweltering hot in the summer, and freezing cold in the winter.
