Thank you for sharing. You sound like me and my reasons for pulling my son out of the school system. It's a blessing finding others who are in the same situation and understanding as myself in regard to combining different learning styles/curriculums that works best for our children.

Hi. Just found your video. Considering using t4l. So nervous since I have never homeschooled before. I just am unhappy with public schools right now and I also have a special needs child who is not during well in public school. Im dedicating a full yr to homeschool to see how it goes. Fingers crossed for me. I hope I get everything right.

Wow listening to how you explain your day really makes sense. Your routine helped me see that I need to be more patient and easy going. I only do 4 hours as well. But I need to be more patient with breaks and more fun. I’m working from home so it’s challenging. I work from 7-330. I let my son sleep in and he wakes up around 10:30-11. So from 11- 3 he will do school. I incorporate T4L & a 2nd grade all subject book. I really appreciate you sharing what works for you. Helps others navigate and do what would work best as well. Thank you for their great example. I want to make this a fun memorable experience! Definitely following!

Hair looks great! I feel the same with tlc stuff for us mom's. We went through the a similar situation too. We just moved and academy we tried was to much so we landed on Time 4 Learning.

Thank you for sharing. I started homeschooling my three little boys (4,6,7) last September. We also chose to used T4L along with random workbooks. I'm definitely contemplating using Master Books in addition to it this year. It was helpful to see how you use both together, very helpful, ty.

@@alaciacamechis-theclife Hi Alacia! I received my Master Books curriculum today! I was looking at the Time4Learning site to try to figure out how to coordinate lessons. When setting up your Activity planner on T4L, did you use the curriculum calculator or the detailed plan? Also do you choose lessons from the parents account or the childs? I'm getting ready to set up my plan and I'm just wondering how to view and access the lessons to choose from. Thanks

I never heard of time4learning until today. Now I'm looking up reviews. Let me say, I agree. I am a firm believer that kids do not need to be in school all day! A couple of hours of school, with something they're interested, is long enough

Hi! I'm looking into homeschooling programs. I bumped into time4learing and I like it so far. We're also faith-based households and on top of that a military family. I want more control of what and when they learn. So, I have a question for you.....did time4learning supply the master books if not where did you buy them from? Thank you!!

I love this video. I want to make sure I understand how you are combining the two. Are you following Masterbook's workbook schedule and then finding the corresponding task on Time4Learning? I'm consider Time4Learning but I also wanted some sort of a textbook to go along with what my child will be learning.

Before I was not using the recommended schedule, however I will be using it during this coming school year. I will matching what is in their schedule to Time4learning

Are you still doing Time4learning. I have been doing it for 4-5 years and just realized that they have Language Art extension and print outs to follow. So I am trying to find a video of someone that has done it.

Do you recommend buying the complete bundle for each grade level on master books or just choose a subject to use in conjunction with t4l?

Which Master Books did you get for your kiddos? I'm thinking that this will be the best route for our family! Just curious as to which Master Books you felt went along the best with Time4Learning. I'm debating between the core books or just the math and language lessons.

I had my kids take the placement math test from masterbooks website, and I used the placement guide for language arts and bought the levels according to placement. Then I went off the levels of where their masterbooks was at and matched it to the grades on Time4learning.

I think I've watched this quite a few times because I'm confused on how you add them to the plan so to speak for your son to do them. Do you just direct him to do x,y,z or do you select them and add them to a plan or his to-do list on the student side? I'm brand new, but my plan is to use T4L and Masterbooks for Math and I'm struggling trying to figure out how to set it up for him to use independently-ish while I work. (I'm able to take breaks if he needs help or is frustrated, but would like him to develop the initiative to get his work done, as well as ask for help when needed.)

having a lot of issues trying to reset an assignment so they can retake an assignment to get a better score or assignments aren't marked as complete and its making them retake the same assignments they already did.

You can go in on the parent portal and Mark an assignment complete. If they need to retake one try closing and deleting the web history and close the browser. Reopen and log back log back in and they should be able to retake it.

We’re using time4learning and I feel like the lessons move a little too fast . Onto the next chapter before they can grasp the last one. I’m consume master books for my 8 & 11 year old. Do you use any other subjects or just math in MB?

I use all the core subjects! Language arts, math, science, history and social studies

Does time4learning have test? We have been using easy peasy this past year and I am trying to find a new curriculum for the upcoming year and I want something that really recaps! My oldest is 10 and autistic as well!!

Great video. I’m just starting homeschool for my special needs son and was considering time4learning along with workbooks. I’m considering pulling his older brother out as well but worried about his speech therapy he receives at school. Does your child still receive services or has homeschooling helped in that area?

Some school districts allow a child to continue service, or you can as your doctors for a referral for a speech therapist.
