Great advise I have a similar set up only I put a Dunlop higain pedal in front of the line which I find very useful if I just want to turn up the volume fir a lead break which saves me messing about with the guitar volume. I've gaffer taped a couple of two pence pieces to the chassis of the pedal just under the foot swell so it's set at a volume all the time and by stepping on the volume swell it's just enough to cut through. Work for me.
