The idea of a “confidence checklist” is a really interesting idea. Even on my good days where I’m really productive, I somehow find a way to talk down to myself. Having a list of “feel good” actions to strive for and remind yourself that you’re doing good is something that I can’t say I’ve tried personally. Great idea, I’m gonna try it out

I'm 38 and always struggled getting interested in clothes and basically disengaged, partly because it was tough to find style I genuinely liked, so I gave up, thinking, fashion isn't for me. This video made me realise that makes clothes can be a confidence drainer too if this is the attitude. I recently discovered this channel and it's given me a real boost in the arm to keep trying to find my style gradually through experimentation. I've started from minimalist tonal. Gradually upping the formal looks from casual and that's been fun. It's really great to find an item, small or large, that you genuinely like and it does boost confidence. A big thanks to Parker for facilitating this revelation - I'm most grateful for you sharing your passion and skill, keep up the good work.

I'm a 73-year-old woman and I found this to be a very useful, insightful video. I'm recovering from the effects of a hip replacement that left me not getting great exercise (pt was hard for me to be consistent with. That's just me) and also being isolated, due to weather and recurring Covid spikes. This video offers a good gauge for keeping confidence afloat. I also add meditation for lifting and smoothing my moods.

Something I started doing is going from a goal checklist to a done checklist. List the good things you did each day (even the little or fun things). It takes less than 5 minutes each day and if you keep the log you see how much you’re achieving each day and it helps keep a better track of positivity/productivity.

Just watching your videos is a great help to take a break and get out of my head. I've never heard of this "bathtub method" but the analogy really makes sense. Thank you for sharing. Definitely great tips that are relatable to most humans. For me I'm my own worst critic. I hold myself to way higher standards than anyone around me expects. High standards aren't bad, but as a perfectionist it IS impossible to truly meet them all perfectly.

AI Summary: The video is about how to boost your confidence. In the video, Parker York Smith uses a bathtub metaphor to illustrate his idea. The water in the tub represents your confidence level, and the drain and faucet represent things that drain or boost your confidence. Here are some ways to drain your confidence according to the video: Negative self-talk: For example, Parker says that he gets down on himself if he is not meeting certain levels of content output. Not keeping your body moving: Parker says that if he is stagnant and sitting around too much, it starts to affect his confidence mentally. Negativity from outside sources: This could include bullies, negativity from people around you, or even negative comments online. Here are some ways to boost your confidence according to the video: Activity: Parker says that he tries to be intentional about moving his body every single day. Therapy: Parker says that he is a user of BetterHelp and that it has really benefited him. Having fun with your style: According to Parker, when he can play around and have fun with his style, it allows him to feel really good in his body and feel really confident. Spending quality time with friends and family: Parker says that spending quality time with the people he loves allows him to feel more confident.

Funny I should watch this now, so I’ve had a pretty crappy couple of years and my confidence is at an all time low, I’m fat, I’m lazy and I’ve created this myself.. however that’s not the recent issue, my support network are amazing and they help me in more ways than I could possibly imagine HOWEVER I was spending all my time with them and I felt like I was starting to bring them down so I’ve just entered into a self help state of mind.. I’m not isolating myself but I am changing things to not rely on other people so much, I basically need to give them some rest bite from my rubbish and actually try and help myself

Many comments. I really dig the analogy. It definitely applies. Breaking it down like that really offers some perspective about each and every piece of the puzzle you are un-boxing. This is about the 3rd thing that has made a random appearance in my life today. I had an epiphany earlier this morning. Found your Dinero from Casino video after that. I had to comment on that as well by the way. And now the bathtub analogy. C,mon man..... Well done.

Something my therapist says is the negative talks and even negative self talks can really affect us. Even if it isn’t current and is from our childhood.
