Congrats man! I hope whenever you start up your Patreon (or whatever you decide to use) that it goes well! (I opened up memberships as well for the same type of stuff and no one was interested, which is fine but still). I’m learning this stuff as I go with Dook/Pasqually as well, so my only recommendation is that if you can’t find anyone else with Fatz cosmetics to use CEI Parts’ services, as they do a great job recreating the cosmetics of the characters. They’re pricey, but the product you get I would say is worth it considering the scarcity of these cosmetics and the quality they give you.

Will you have your fatz with silver custom made or gold original jacket with maroon or black looking bow tie. For Easter I would love to see a light purple jacket on fatz with medium purple neck tie. Instead of original bow tie look.

Hey dude!! I'm also very near the florida location that you went too, actually i was there just a couple of hours ago. I found out that they are getting the remodel in very soon sadly. I personally have no bots like this, but I am very glad that you any many other people have the originals like this. Also, I will be trying to get my hands on some of the bots, signs, etc after the remodel. I may not be able to restore them to their full glory, but hopefully/maybe if i could get them then at least they will not be destroyed. I'll do my best in order to save these guys, they're very amazing and hold so many memories for a lot of people so i do NOT understand in full why they want them destroyed.

On the back of the metal frame heads is where the air valve gauge goes to see how how the psi air pressure is for the characters.

hey Kai! I am 15 and have always been interested in animatronics and maybe even acquiring one myself. I wanted to know how to get the education required for restoring one of these (and where to start looking for one in the first place). Obviously there isn't a class you can take to learn how to fix a Rock Afire Explosion animatronic but I wanted to know what I should learn to restore one! If you have any places I could look into buying them as well, that would be awesome too! Your a brilliant creator and I can't wait to see you restore this animatronic!

Yeah the psi air pressure should be at least 40 or 45 psi level.

The original specification was 80 PSI, however many 3-stage locations have lowered it to around 75. 45 is FAR too low for the movements to be properly adjusted

@@showbizwisconsin8350 Technically 80/40 (or 75/35) because of the dual pressure regulator ;-) Rockafire used slow speed a lot more than MMBB did, but CEC did still use it a few times on the older shows. Curious to know if non-Showbiz locations had a dual-pressure regulator. A good example is the beginning of Sal's Birthday or Birthday Medley. Both are low-speed shows for the first few minutes that were programmed at 40 psi. When it activated you would hear a loud air sound under the stage as it dumps the air to go down to 40 psi.

The dual pressure regulator is such an interesting concept. I was struggling to find an example of it in action, so thank you. I was not aware that CEC utilized it at all. Someone should definitely check the Tallahassee, FL location to see if it was installed there.
