I loved the way how he encouraged me by saying :- 1) anyone can learn to code.... it just takes time... 2) you can feel yourself to be a rookie and others expert.... 3) don't listen to anyone just start coding with python.... The amount of work you put into your videos is insane. If you ever run out of python/programming video ideas, maybe make a "behind the scenes" video of how much work and detail you put into filming and editing a single episode. I wouldn't be surprised if the amount of detail it entaills compares quite well to the complexity of an average but lengthy algorithm.

Such brilliant words and advice to keep me focused on python , just last week saw other video advising to learn others and not Python and became not sure what to do now as was focussed on Python , but this video now convinced me once and for all , and LOVED your other video "just try python, you can always go back to excel" , I am excel fundi in my eyes(Macros,Power Pivot, Power Query and and and.....) , but all you say about Python makes such sense and amazingly Python actually teaches one more about excel if one thinks of excel same time as doing Python, I do many books for small to medium-sized companies and in short time of studying python was able to get all books on ONE EXCEL FILE(475 000 lines and growing)9HAVE HELICOPTER VISION OF ALL BOOKS ON ONE FILE-BEEN TRYING FOR YEARS TO GET THIS RIGHT!!!!!, and so nice to store excel backup on Ptyhon (Pandas) , and use Python (Matplotlib…) to draw graphs from Excel file - WHEN I SEE NEW VIDEO FROM YOU I JUMP TO IT because you understand us out here and exactly problems we have!!!

This video's really helped me gain some better perspective. I had to learn python this year as part of an NLP master's degree and recently I've been soooo done with programming. Just started despising the logic, how unlike real life it seemed and how artificial it seemed. Now, I guess I know why I started hating it. I was pushing too much and frankly, a lot was expected from us that we had to learn on our own, e.g. virtual environments were never mentioned. Thank you for making this video and giving me the hope to once more enjoy programming, like I used to when I started.

Man I love the way you explain, I'm going to tell you a secret, I am a doing my master in mechatronics in germany I am almost done with my classes, and I never learned how to program, I have taken many classes but I only memorize and find a way to pass, I am now trying to learn python, because I want to find a hiwi or an intership but they all ask for some programming knowledge. It is absurd that I am here without a good idea on how to start. To anyone reading this: You still have time to learn. Please dont be like me, and learn to code from the start, practice and ask questions dont try to evade it. nice video

I was an accountant and my job was to do many task that are repetitive and not fun at all, so i started finding short cuts and i always look for a shortest solution that brought me to coding Python and the reason i am a self taught because I am kind of person that would rather think really hard for 10 hours than keep doing the same shit over and over again. And seriously Python Syntax is easy to learn but not the Oceans of Modules, its a living hell for some people. I am recently learning Web scraping and god knows things i had to learn for that first BS4 Module but it was slow so i shifted to Scrapy which was supper hard but super fast and then I need selenium too, now learn to write xpath and css, learn html pattern and then i had to scrape the websites that are protected by cloudflare OMG. I now starting to feel like a hacker a little and its exciting.

I can only speak from my experience as someone who has to program for university, but if you learn Java first migrating to python becomes more seamless.
